Andrea & Jason drove in from Las Vegas just for their engagement session and I felt some extra pressure to do a good job for them.  This is just one of about 100 awesome photos.  They were super in love, which makes it easy to photograph.  I can't wait to photograph their wedding.

This is Ambar & Michael from last night's engagement session.  They had SOOOOO much fun in front of the camera and laughed hardily throughout their entire session, which I LOVE.

 I've written about this before... there is a season for sunsets here in Southern California and Summer is the worst time of the year.  They definitely tend to get better towards October & November.

I love blue eyes!!!  Not that I'm complaining about the hazel ones that God gave me...I just love photographing them!  It's especially cool when both my clients have the same amazing color.  

We planned this engagement session a few weeks earlier but Shanon had some kind of random alergic reaction to nail polish that landed her in emergency room!  Thank goodness it didn't happen before her wedding!!!

Erica & Wayne's Engagement Session - Callaway Winery - Temecula, CA

I am constantly reminded about how fortunate I am for everything that I have.  I have a GREAT family, I LOVE my job and all the great people we work with and get to know + all the experiences we would otherwise not have.  

Erica and Wayne are at the top of my list for clients that I appreciate.  Both Erica & Wayne are deaf.  You know how they say that when you lose one of your senses that the others become stronger.  Well, I'm absolutely convinced that their sense of LOVE has multiplied a few times over because of their handicap.

I was nervous before their engagement session because I wasn't sure if i'd be able to communicate what I needed to get my job done right.  My reservations were obviously unfounded because once my settings on my camera were in place, they jumped right in and were on fire from the very beginning; normally couples need to warm up for the camera before the photos get REALLY good.  Not them.  

Erica and Wayne are destined for a beautiful life together!  They are truly two of the lucky ones!  

 

 

 

New Effect, New Promo!

I think I discovered my new best friend...this new ultra-saturated photoshop effect.  I love it so much that I'm using it for all of my clients...who also seem to be loving it.  It's time consuming to create but it has a painting look/feel that gives me the warm fuzzies.
